Saying goodbye

Nothing forces you to reflect on where you are going and what you are doing more than saying goodbye... My current speechtherapist is leaving for a new job and just in thanking her for the last few months i've thought about how far I've come along the "sorting my life out", it made me feel really positive about the progress i have made, and more importantly, the tools i now have to reflect on what i'm doing... I found this lovely quote on lovely Norma's flickr pages... very timely i thought.

"Your work is to discover your world and then with all your heart give yourself to it." Buddha

Bit under the weather with 'acute' (which sounds dreadfully serious) kidney infection, probably accounts for generally tired and rundown-ness and now dull ache in my side... oh dear poor me
:(

Have I ever told you how good I am at finding things? Just wanted to let you know that the move went well yesterday ... soooo exhausting but it feels good to have all our stuff around us :-D I'll write a proper update for my blog in the next couple of days and hopefully post some pics (if I can find the necessary leads in one of the many, many boxes). Lost my phone charger but have located it again now ... also have no mobile phone signal in the house :-( so looks like I'll be changing providers soon methinks.

Sorry to hear you're poorly ... naughty Mr Kidney! ... when I hear the word 'acute' I always think 'a cute' which sounds much less ghastly :o)

Anyway enough of my essay, missing you, love your blog and can't wait to show you our wonderful new home :oD

Hugs

H xx

A cute kidney does sound nice. Maybe i could knit one like the knitted womb... however, I love the drugs! You never realised how icky you are until you feel better... i am like a new (less moaning - you will be pleased to hear) woman.

Glad house super and that you are in one piece, Brandy and i becoming concerned... x
